Would this performance win today, or does the Academy look for different things now than they did then?Ferrer beat Spencer Tracy (Father of the Bride), Jimmy Stewart (Harvey), Louis Calhern (The Magnificent Yankee), and William Holden (Sunset Blvd.) for the award.
