I was very impressed with the characters in this movie. We get a sense very early on of who these people are and what makes them tick. Very little actually happens in "The Station Agent," but I found it fascinating to watch the characters interact and their relationships develop. Did you have a favorite character?

Very little actually happens in "The Station Agent," but I found it fascinating to watch the characters interact and their relationships develop. Did you have a favorite character?

I liked Fin. I found myself rooting for his happiness -- the first time he smiled was wonderful, and when he lost Olivia and pushed Joe away I was very sad for him. And, of course, I was glad when things worked out for him in the end.
The other two were cute, and I felt sorry for them, but I didn't feel nearly as connected to them as I did to Fin.
Fin definitely, but only after Cleo and Olivia and Joe (and the librarian!) penetrated his shell.
Also because Fin carries a bag just like mine.
